4:19 pm	Back on stages Hi folks!!, After a long time out of the bussiness, I am back. Since the last entry, I have been playing back with C, C#, GTK+ and Lisp as well as learning a little ELisp and other stuff. I started my own regresion program that quickly became a more complete numerical analysis tool for Physics and other sciences students, it's called: monumeric Monumeric. This morning I started a nother library with GUI app called mphysics. I am using The GNU Scientific Library to develop it. I am still in doubt about using GTK+/GNOME or Gtk#/GNOME# in order to develop the GUI (the library will be in C (*)). We'll see. Now again I have another problem, were is the grid widget in GTK??. GtkSheet in GtkExtra :-). Nice try. I am on it, but I'll be needing a grid sometime in the forthcoming future and I really think I'll have to write my-own-that-will-never-be-standard one. Well, at least my degree in Physics is closer, just three non-complicated and already-studied subjects left. My cheers to all the supporting friends whose feedback keep me onward, specially Paco, Malglam, Mariajo, Loren, Enlavin, Pummel and of course, Marisa. Keep on flying down through the night. (*) C#, the wonderfull language I have talked about time after time (http://www.go-mono.com), has not builting complex types. What???. Yep, it's true. Even it's straightforward to write your own complex class... you really don't want to. I did it myself, a very complete one. Then I wrote a Matrix one, till the complex version of my Determinant method in libregresion (see the link of monumeric, above), 0.28 seconds in my fast PIV 1.8GHz laptop took a complex 3x3 diagonal matrix to return it's determinant. What the hell I am supposed to do with that. I can't imagine what a 1000x1000 legendre+sphere harmonics can take. (2 Comments |Comment on this)

4:46 pm	Happy because we have a hacklab meeting in two hours Finally after a long, sad time without having a hack/geek meeting we are having one in just two hours counting down from now. As Pummel would have said: we have a mission to complete People that claimed to be there?: Tripu, nauj27, malglam, enlavin, lgs, Bladecoder, Pummel and myself. Let's see how many of us will be there in the end. I have only come here seeking peace, I have only come here seeking me... it seems I can't live.
